Radamel Falcao wants improvement

Colombia international striker Radamel Falcao wants to see some improvement from the national team. He said that the team has been struggling on the international scene for some time and he feels that some changes are needed in order to progress.

The Monaco striker said that there are some really good players in Colombia and it is important that they are detected at a young age. He said that there are some other South American countries that are ahead of them when it comes to player development and that it is important that Colombia do the same if they want to progress.

Radamel Falcao believes that there need to be some changes in how the Colombian football federation is managed as he feels that they are not doing enough for the development of football in the country. The former Manchester United player said that it is important that kids at a young age are taken care of so that they can progress in the best possible condition. He said that there are so many talented kids that fail to make it at the senior level and that this is a waste of talent.

Radamel Falcao said that the Copa America will be held next year and it is important that Colombia fields in a competitive side. He said that this will be a great opportunity to assess how far Colombia has progressed as a team and whether the current measures are reaping fruits.

On a more personal basis, Radamel Falcao said that he will be thinking about his future at the end of the season. He said that he wants to win trophies and unfortunately it does not seem that he will be able to do so with Monaco. There are some reports that the player might be moving to Real Madrid but this remains to be verified.
